We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Freelance PR Manager to join our dynamic Brand & Communications team.
In this role, you will support and collaborate closely with our external PR agency to help develop and execute effective public relations strategies that amplify our brand's visibility, manage our media relationships, and ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels.

This position requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of PR processes and a passion for delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate must be a native English speaker or demonstrate an equivalent level of English proficiency.

Please submit some work samples This is a 20 hour/week freelancer position whereas the 20 hours must be spread over fixed working days (at least 4 days a week and Fridays must be included) with potential to convert to a full-time permanent role in 2026 and therefore preferred to be close to one of our offices in either Munich or Lisbon. Your TasksCollaborate with Internal and External Teams: Serve as a key liaison between the internal Brand & Communications team and our external PR agency, ensuring alignment of PR strategies with overall brand objectives.PR Strategy and Execution: Support the development and execution of comprehensive public relations strategies across Europe and beyond, including media outreach, press releases, thought leadership opportunities, event planning, and content creation.Media Relations & Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key media contacts across relevant sectors.
Oversee the execution of media outreach campaigns and ensure optimal media coverage for the brand.Content Creation and Messaging: Work closely with the Brand & Communications team to create compelling PR content, including press releases, media pitches, speaking proposals, bylines, and articles, ensuring consistent and impactful messaging.Event Management: Support in the planning and execution of PR-related media opportunities at events.
Oversee coordination with the external agency for smooth execution.Brand Alignment: Ensure all PR initiatives are aligned with the brand's voice, vision, and goals, contributing to a unified and consistent brand presence across all channels. You Bring5+ years of experience in public relations.
Experience in both agency and in-house PR settings is a plus.PR Expertise: Proven track record of executing successful media campaigns and building strong relationships with journalists, editors, and media outlets.Strong Writing Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills (native English speaker or equivalent level of proficiency) with the ability to craft clear, engaging, and on-brand content.Project Management: Highly organized with strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.Ability to think strategically and translate business objectives into actionable PR strategies.Experience working with external agencies and navigating different personalities and work styles, with a flexible and collaborative mindset.Well-versed in the current media landscape, with an in-depth understanding of traditional and digital media channels.Industry Expertise: Knowledge of the tech industry is essential.
