Team Leader – Cyber Security Software Engineering Interior Electronics

Job DescriptionTo strengthen the Interiors Management Team in our Porto Location we're looking for a dynamic and highly motivated engineer with passion for Cybersecurity.
In Interiors, we are developing embedded software components for the digital cockpit of the future, including instrument clusters, high performance computers and 5G telematic control units.
As a team leader / manager for Automotive Cyber Security Software you will coordinate a team software engineers as well as participate actively in the development of high quality solutions for our customers.
:As part of our team you willl:Manage a team of highly qualified and motivated Software Engineers by mentoring and developing the team members, fostering autonomy and ownership.
Assign tasks to team members, according to their competences and capabilities.Conduct team meetings and team events, fostering open communication and a feedback cultureHelp grow the team by supporting in talent retention and recruitment activities, job interviewsTake on an active role in the development of customer projects by bringing in technical knowledge and expertiseEnsure high quality and on time project deliverySupport in the acquisition of new projects, in the clarification of technical feasibility and the effort estimationCollaborate with other Team Leaders to shape the success of the CompanyCooperate in building a complex software system that serves as a platform for the vehicle of the future You will collaborate with a strong international team and see the impact of your work on streets around the globe.QualificationsBasic QualificationsDegree in Electronics, Computer Science or a related engineering discipline5+ years of professional experience in software development for embedded devicesGood programming skills in C/C++ for embedded microcontrollersProfound understanding of Cyber Security concepts: hashing and encryption algorithmsAbility to work in international teams and with international customersGood analytical capabilities and ability to systematically deal with challengesStrong sense of accountability and ownershipStrong people skills and team-oriented mindsetVery good communication skills in English (written and spoken)Would be a plusProfessional experience in disciplinary and/or technical LeadershipProfessional experience in automotive software development and the Product Life CycleKnowledge of vehicle communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet)Experience in working with hardware debugging tools and the ability to read schematicsKnowledge of AUTOSAR Classic and/or Adaptive architecture and configuration toolsAdditional InformationWhat we offer:Exciting and diversified projectsAn inside in innovative technologies of the automotive industryWide network to research and development partiesModern leadership cultureIndividual choice of working timesPromotion of personal developmentIf you meet the requirements, you will be contacted within 15 days.
