DigestAID is a startup focused on the development of Artificial Intelligence solutions for application to several fields of digestive health. Our main drive is to overcome the diagnostic limitations of multiple endoscopic methods, from capsule endoscopy to digital cholangioscopy. We have secured seed funding, and we are looking for top talent interested in working in AI for good, who have the drive to take the business to new heights and deliver new products.About the roleThis will be the first hire of a Senior Backend Engineer in the company. You will work closely with and multidisciplinary team of engineers, scientists, designers and medical doctors to develop, optimize and implement interface solutions that enable the use and application of our AI models. This is an exciting opportunity for those in backend development who would like to contribute to creating state-of-the-art Artificial Intelligence solutions.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience as a Backend Engineer.Strong understanding of web concepts and technologies (HTTP, RESTful APIs, etc.).Experience with web frameworks such as Node.js.Experience with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., Postgres, MongoDB).Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud, AWS or Azure.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Experience with microservices architecture and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).Familiarity with Google Cloud services.Experience in developing AI inference services.Knowledge of message brokers and streaming platforms (e.g., PubSub, SQS, Kafka).Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, Ansible).#J-18808-Ljbffr
