We are an electricity producer from wind, solar, hydro, biomass and storage and also a service provider to 3rd party clients such as Development, EPC, O&M and Distribution.Today we are in 20 countries, split among 4 continents, and offering a global operating capacity to our clients.
We are listed on the regulated Euronext market in Paris since July 2014.
Our Legal department is looking for a Legal Counsel.
This position will be based in Porto and will have the following responsibilities:Responding on behalf of the company to requirements for third party client tendersProviding legal analysis, drafting and negotiation of national and international contracts for the construction and operation of renewable power plants (EPC, O&M)Acting on behalf of the company to analyse and mitigate risk, to draft and negotiate contracts related to distribution activities such as agency, distribution, partnership agreements, etc.Acting on behalf of the company in disputes; providing advice on legal issues such as customer and suppliers claims, pre-litigation and litigationProviding generalist support for the company's legal requirements; drafting letters, policies, contract templates and legal documents; ensuring accurate legal advice is given and that procedures are followed as per current local legislative and statutory complianceKeeping updated about changes and developments in case law, contract law, liability, public procurement, local legislation, and other topics REQUIREMENTS Degree or master's degree in lawMinimum of 5 years of proven experienceExperienced in projects with high complexityStrong knowledge of contract law and construction lawAdvanced English and Spanish language level KEY SKILLS Ability to identify and analyze main issues, to see the big pictureBusiness partner and team playerProven negotiations skillsAble to work in autonomy while under the management of the Legal ManagerManagement of prioritiesCuriosity, creativity, solution-oriented
