Job DescriptionThe business unit "Video Systems" develops software and IT systems that are the glue in complex and distributed security installations with thousands of cameras.They make them manageable and create customer value even beyond security.Join us on our journey from simple video monitoring to intelligent and preventive security solutions, leveraging cutting-edge technologies like video analytics, face and object recognition, anomaly detection, IoT device management, and more.Help shape the future: You go aheadYou are inspired by making our world more secure, you are passionate about new software technologies and sophisticated systems, and you are proficient in state-of-the-art development practices and IT technology.You create the next generation of video and building security systems.Use your creativity and freedom: You work in an agile team of software and system developers.As a senior developer you collaborate with stakeholders to determine requirements, you draft concepts and architectures for software components, and you create complex applications on the Microsoft Windows platform.You always have user experience and the quality of your software in mind.Experience collaboration: Your team and the international multi-site development community of our product area counts on you.In your daily work you closely cooperate within your team, with colleagues and experts at other locations, and with product-, project-, and local management.In addition, also external suppliers and other Bosch divisions and sites are part of your network.QualificationsExperience: A minimum of 5 years of professional software development in various positions, at least C# is required.Additionally, you have experience with agile development methodologies.You have specific Knowledge in: C# & .NET Core/.NET FrameworkSW design and architecture: sound understanding of OOP concepts, SOLID principles, and design patterns (MVC, MVVM), clean architecture Server/Client architectures and distributed systems Web services and API Integrations, SOAP, XML, Rest Services Unit testing frameworks like Google Test, NUnit, as well as experience with debugging techniques and tools Visual Studio, WinDBG, GDB Desktop application based on WinForms, WPF, Win32 API Further knowledge would be a plus: UX/UI Affinity, state of the Art Web Frames like Angular or React Experience in Cloud Computing (AWS/Azure) Streaming architecture, domain driven design Network protocols like IP, TCP/UDP, TLS, HTTP/HTTP2 Video over IP, ONVIF, video streaming, RTSP C++, C++/CLI Languages: Excellent spoken and written English skills are a must.Additionally, German and/or Portuguese would be an advantage.Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent, higher degrees preferred.Additional InformationWork #LikeABosch includes:Flexible work conditions | Hybrid work system | Exchange with colleagues around the world | Health insurance and medical office on site (nutrition, psychology, physiotherapy, general clinic) | Training opportunities (, technical training, foreign languages training) & certifications | Access to great discounts in partnerships and Bosch products | Sports and health related activities (gym) | Free parking lot | CanteenSuccess stories don´t just happen.They are made...Make it happenWe are looking forward to your application
