The Field Service Engineer for Leica Biosystems is responsible for providing technical service and support in the field on Advance Staining/Core Histology equipment within Leica Biosystems (LBS), ISO, FDA, and budgetary guidelines with the objectives of minimizing customer downtime and generating revenue opportunities for LBS.
It is expected that the successful candidate would potentially develop into a team leader directing a regional technical support team or Application Consultant roles. Other commercial managerial positions should also be considered.
This position is part of the Customer Support Service function and field technical support located in Lisbon and will be fully remote. At Leica Biosystems, our vision is to advance cancer diagnostics and improve lives.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Provide installation support, maintenance, modification and/or repair on various Advanced Staining instruments.Effectively communicate with internal colleagues and external customers within established time guidelines in order to meet customer expectations.Document and complete service administration activities in a timely manner in order to comply with ISO, FDA, and Company policies.The essential requirements of the job include: Bachelor's degree or comparable professional expertise in electronics or mechanics with a minimum of 3 years' experience in field service in a relevant or similar industry.Good level of knowledge of English.Ability to travel, including overnights.At Leica Biosystems, we believe in designing a better, more sustainable workforce.
