Our client is a company that is expanding greatly in the energy market and is one of the world's largest methanol producers. They work on EPC projects in various parts of the world.
Key Responsibilities:
Planning and CoordinationProject Planning: Plan and coordinate the installation of steel structures and tanks, ensuring all necessary materials are available and comply with project specifications. Schedule tasks and allocate resources efficiently to meet project deadlines.Material Management: Coordinate the ordering, delivering, and verifying of all necessary materials to meet project specifications.Team SupervisionSupervise construction subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project plans and safety protocols.Quality ControlMonitor the quality of workmanship and materials used in construction. Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and standards.Reading and Interpreting PlansInterpret technical drawings and specifications to guide construction activities accurately.Installation and AssemblyOversee the proper assembly and installation of steel structures and tanks, ensuring alignment, fit, and structural integrity are maintained.Safety ManagementImplement and enforce safety procedures to prevent accidents and injuries on the job site.Regulatory ComplianceEnsure all activities comply with local, national, and international regulations. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and best practices.Coordination with Site ManagementMaintain effective communication with the Site Manager and clients. Provide regular updates on project progress, challenges, and solutions.Documentation and ReportingPrepare detailed reports on project status, including progress, delays, and any changes made. Maintain accurate records of materials, labor, and equipment used.Problem SolvingIdentify and resolve issues that arise during construction and installation. Stay flexible and responsive to changing project requirements.
Qualifications/Experience:
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.Good knowledge of English (medium-high level).A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.Additional Requirements:
Availability to be mobilized in Sweden for approximately 1 year.
