We are excited to open up to receive applications for teaching positions across the following subjects in our Middle and Secondary School: Mathematics Sciences Humanities (Global Perspective, Business, Sociology, History, Economics) Languages (Portuguese, English, French, Spanish) Media and ICT and Information Technology (IT) Physical Education Arts and Performances (Music, Design and Technology, Arts and Design) About Aprendizes School Located in Cascais, Portugal, Aprendizes is an independent private school educating students aged 3 to 18.

We embrace a bilingual, student-centered, and active learning approach, connecting education to real-world challenges and opportunities.
Nestled on the outskirts of Cascais, near the Sintra National Park, our campus provides breath-taking views of the mountains and Guincho Beach, embedding a strong sense of sustainability and environmental awareness into our school culture.
We offer the Portuguese National Curriculum from preschool through 4th grade and the Cambridge International Curriculum for grades 5 to 12.
Our community of approximately 600 students, 130 staff members, and families from over 40 nationalities is rooted in Portuguese culture while embracing a global perspective.

Bring expertise in their subject area, paired with active learning and student-centered teaching methods.
Are motivated to connect education to real-world issues and contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Value collaboration and thrive in a diverse, inclusive, and caring school community.
Want to support students to take the lead in various school activities such as Model United Nations, Duke of Edinburgh, Student Magazine, Sport Tournaments, etc.
Qualifications and Experience The ideal candidates will possess: A bachelor's degree, recognized teaching qualification, and relevant teaching experience.
Experience with the Cambridge International Curriculum or another international curriculum.
Strong classroom management skills.
Experience with active, inquiry and/or project based learning - and being a facilitator of learning processes.
Fluency in English (proficiency in Portuguese is a plus)
