What are we looking for? We are seeking a skilled database professional with strong expertise in database design, query tuning, and performance optimization.
Proficient in scripting languages like Python and Bash for automation, they are a problem-solver with an analytical mindset.
A team player with exceptional global communication skills, they thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments, contributing effectively to collaborative projects.
How will you make an impact? Manage and optimize PostgreSQL and MSSQL, NoSQL databases across AWS, GCP, and Kubernetes environments.Work as part of the DBA team and DevOps group across countries.Design and implement high-availability, disaster recovery, and backup strategies.Work with Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana (ELK) to support data analytics and log management.Collaborate with developers and DevOps teams to design efficient database schemas and queries.Automate routine database tasks and ensure top-notch performance and security.Monitor database health, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive improvements.Review queries with developers, promoting best practices.Lead performance, scalability, and budget improvements.RequirementsWhat Is Needed to Succeed: 3+ years as an applicative PostgreSQL DBA.Experience in working with multiple development teams.Proven track record working with AWS and containerized environments like Kubernetes is a big plus.An applicative MSSQL DBA experience is a plus.Hands-on experience with the ELK stack is a plus.Advantages: Experience with clustering, replication, or CI/CD pipelines.Solid understanding of cloud security, IAM roles, and AWS infrastructure.What we have to offerCheckmarx offers a great work environment, professional development, challenging careers, competitive compensation, great work-life balance, as well as great benefits and perks throughout the year.
