Open Cascade (), part of Capgemini Engineering since , is an open-source software platform for 3D geometric modeling and processing.It provides tools for creating, modifying, and visualizing 3D models, along with capabilities for mesh handling and boolean operations.Open Cascade is focused on the digital transformation of industries through the use of the latest technologies and services.Your MissionOur Java Team Lead is responsible for leading and developing a team of software engineers and creating and maintaining the software.This role combines technical expertise with leadership and communication skills to drive the success of the team and the company.Tech Stack: Java, Spring, Kafka, Concurrency, Docker, Kubernetes Main Tasks and Responsibilities: Be technical lead for the respective Team competencies in scope, being recognized as a reference in the technical field; Set an updated vision of the needs, aligned with Technical Direction, defining development best practices, code review and checklists, ensure knowledge preservation, such as, appropriate documentation definition, knowledge sharing sessions, trainings for the new technologies; Make sure team members are capable to participate in new projects, setting improvement plans or learning new skills where needed; Lead technical assessment process for the competencies of the team, participating in interviews, train interviewers, improve evaluation process; Define the right competences, define levels and certifications for each person Proposes and implements improvements for development practices and tools Makes sure the team works according to defined development process Web application development for the provisioning semantic interoperability between different Engineering systems.Creating solution designs and implementing new features in an agile team; Collaborating with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic via REST API; Ensuring adequate unit tests coverage.Required Technical Expertise Mandatory: 8+ years of commercial experience in Java 2+ years of Team Leadership or Tech Leadership Strong knowledge of Java Core, Collections, Stream API, Concurrency A good understanding of software development principles like Clean Code and SOLID principles Knowledge of Spring Core, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security Knowledge of JWT, OIDC Knowledge of SQL/noSQL, ability to design schemes and write optimal queries Working knowledge of Git Experience with Linux, Docker, Docker-compose Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or similar field; Strong Communication skills Writing/Speaking skills in English, minimum level C1; Self-motivated and proactive; ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, and take creative feedback constructively; Nice to have: Knowledge of cloud-based technologies, Kubernetes, ZooKeeper Experience with Kafka Knowledge of Spring Cloud Ability to analyze a memory dump and discover a memory leak Experience with performance analysis and tuning Experience with design and development a fault-tolerant web application Our offerWhat You'll Love About Working Here Join a multicultural and inclusive team environment.Enjoy a supportive atmosphere promoting work-life balance.Engage in exciting national and international projects.Hybrid work.Your career growth is central to our mission.Our array of career growth programs and diverse professionals are crafted to support you in exploring a world of opportunities.Training and certifications programs.Health and life insurance.Referral program with bonuses for talent recommendations.Great office locations Choosing Capgemini means choosing a company where you will be empowered to shape your career in the way youd like, where youll be supported and inspired by a collaborative community of colleagues around the world, and where youll be able to reimagine whats possible.Join us and help the worlds leading organizations unlock the value of technology and build a more sustainable, more inclusive world.Apply now#LI-JA8
