What you'll doThis role is a key software developer within Vodafone's IPX team, focusing on international mobile roaming.
Responsibilities include developing and maintaining the RoaDS analytics tool to manage roaming traffic, ensuring network stability, and automating processes for efficiency.
The role requires advanced programming and database management skills, along with effective stakeholder communication to align various teams and ensure successful project delivery.Accountabilities:Develop and maintain technical documentation and tools throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including programming and database management.Lead research and development (R&D) initiatives for new product development.Automate processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.Plan, design, deliver, and test new networks, platforms, and services to support international mobile roaming.Perform data analytics and develop complex applications through programming.Who you areDegree in electrical / electronic / telecommunications engineeringInternational exposure with fluent English knowledge (equal or above B2 level)Telecommunications industry experienceAdvanced proficiency in database management.Skilled in process automation and tools development.Proven experience in multi-national matrix organizations, with knowledge of the telecommunications industry.
Experience with Roaming is a plus.Effective communicator, capable of managing multiple stakeholders in high-pressure, business-critical situations.
Experienced in customer and supplier-facing roles.
