Principal Consultant/Tech Lead – ServiceNowWorkster is partnering with a leading global professional services company who is seeking to onboard an English-speaking Principal Consultant/Tech Lead for a ServiceNow team for their Lisbon office. In this role, you will be the technical owner and manage a team of developers, assign their tasks and provide technical guidance as needed. The working model is hybrid, with 2-3 days per week working from home.Your RoleAs a technical owner manage and mentor a team of developers, assign their tasks and provide technical guidance as neededParticipate in requirement discovery with clients, design and develop solutions for the ServiceNow platform, ranging from current feature enhancements and bug fixes to full application suite deploymentCarry out agile sprint-defined development tasks to support release cycles, including execution of development, unit testing, functional testing, and overall peer review of team member workReview design and code per sprint to ensure qualityCreate and customise complex workflows and custom workflow activitiesCoordinate with Client, Architects, Business Analysts, and developers to translate business requirements to technical requirements and development tasksContribute and review user storiesBuild and maintain technical documentationMonitor health, usage, and overall compliance of ServiceNow and its applicationsProvide production support and be able to resolve problems under pressureCoordinate sub-production testing, evaluation, and regression remediationSupport COE in continuous development of training paths for professional advancementContribute to ongoing definition of best development and solution practicesLead training workshops as mean to spread experiences gained across the practiceREQUIREMENTS:Excellent communication skills in English to communicate effectively with clients and the teamRelevant experience ServiceNow DevelopmentPrior experience in leading client projects as a technical leadCertified System Administrator (CSA) plus one mainline Implementor certifications (CSM /HRSD/ITSM/GRC etc.)Strong hand-on experience in Java scripting, debugging and deployment using update sets for new applications, enhancements, and version upgradesHands-on Experience working with Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Scripts, UI Actions, UI Pages, Script Includes, Access Control Lists, API's, Service Portal etc…Good management, analytic, problem solving & interpersonal skillsSelf-motivated, Positive outlook & result orientedKnowledge of Azure DevOps/ TFS / Jira / Rally Etc. will be nice to haveBENEFITS:Excellent remuneration package based on experience and skillsRelocation assistance for a perfectly matching candidateA dynamic and creative team with positive and friendly atmosphereGuidance and tools to reach your full potentialPaid TrainingSunny weatherApply & ShineShow us what makes you stand out Check out our international openingsand apply today - it takes one minute.Let's ConnectCongratulations We'd love to get to know you better.
