You should have a passion for figuring out what users need, an ability to take advanced features and make them easy to understand and use, and provide creative ideas on how to best organize and deliver content to make users successful.What you'll doCreate high-quality user documentation to help our users be successful with ZendeskImprove the overall quality of the documentation by responding to internal and external feedbackInteract with customers and customer-facing teams to understand how customers use our products and what they need to be successfulBuild strong working relationships with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, support, and customer successWhat you bring to the role5+ years experience as a technical writer, preferably documenting cloud-based software productsFamiliarity with business intelligence and data analysis toolsExcellent technical writing skills and a superior grasp of written EnglishAbility to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelinesAbility to work well independently and in a collaborative, team environmentExperience working with DITA XML format and a DITA authoring tool(we use Oxygen Author)About UsZendesk builds software for better customer relationships.
