How about working with a skilled team in a motivating environment?The Regional Procurement Office (RPO) Mediterranean is responsible for all Procurement activities related to Southern Europe, Turkey, Middle East, Africa and Balkans. The RPO consists of three sub departments: Strategic Purchasing, Procurement Excellence and Supplier Quality & Development. The Strategic Purchasing department is structured in focused teams procuring goods and services for our Turbines and our Construction- and Service Business. Furthermore, we have established market specific teams to accommodate special market requirements.

ResponsibilitiesThe Purchaser will be responsible for sourcing and procuring "Inland Transportation Services" for our Wind Turbines components (Out of gauge Cargo), managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of products. This role will also involve launching and managing Requests for Quotation (RFQs) on a regular basis, to obtain competitive bids, aligned with the company's strategic goals and policies.
Launch RFQs: Develop, distribute, and manage Requests for Quotation (RFQs) to solicit competitive bids from suppliers for various goods and services, with the right timing.Supplier Selection and Market Research: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers who can provide the best quality goods and services at the most competitive prices.Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms, conditions, and prices with suppliers to ensure favorable agreements and long-term partnerships.Vendor Relationship Management: Build effective relationships with key suppliers to ensure reliability, quality, and timely deliveries.Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all procurement activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, maintaining accurate records and documentation.Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to align procurement activities with overall company goals. QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business or Engineering.3 years' experience in Procurement as a Purchaser, focused on transport procurement is valued.Experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management, particularly with oversized or special cargo, is beneficial.Experience with Ariba Sourcing is beneficial.Fluent in English; all documents and discussions will be in English language.
