As a Technical Director at Saber Porto, you will play a pivotal role in the creation of high-quality, immersive video games. You will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of game development, providing technical leadership to the development team, and ensuring the successful implementation of the game's creative vision working closer with the Game Design team. If you are passionate about cutting-edge technology and gaming, and you have a strong track record in technical leadership, let's talk.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Technical Strategy: Develop and execute the technical vision and strategy for game development, including technology stack selection, architecture design, and optimization.

Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the technical team, including programmers, technical artists, and other specialists connected to the tech, to drive productivity and innovation.

Collaboration: Work closely with other department heads, including specially the Game Design to ensure that the technical aspects align with the creative and gameplay goals.

Code and System: Define and maintain the overall game architecture with Principal/Lead Programmer, including code structure, gameplay systems, and data pipelines.

Performance & Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to ensure the game runs smoothly on target platforms, specially focus on NexGen Consoles.

Tech Documentation: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation align to the Design of the game to support team members in understanding the codebase and systems needed to achieve gameplay goals and high quality product.

Risk Management: Proactively identify and address technical risks that may impact the project's timeline and quality articulating the information with the head of production of the studio to this cooperation act as problem-solving system of the project.

Compliance and Certification: Ensure the game meets platform-specific technical requirements and successfully passes certification processes for console platforms.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field.

Proven experience in a technical leadership role within the video game industry.

Strong knowledge of game development processes, tools, and engines.

Strong knowledge of Unreal Engine 4 & 5, other engines is a plus.

Proficiency in C/C++ programming language.

Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Passion for video games and a deep understanding of player experiences.
