We are looking for a Junior Plugin Developer to join the team that develops plugins for SIEM services and integrates them with Veeam products such as Veeam Backup & Replication and Veeam One.
Your tasks will include:Developing and supporting plugins for SIEM servicesPerforming troubleshooting and analysis, including log file investigationProactively staying up to date with all the latest technologies concerning Veeam's products and the underlying technologiesContributing to documentation for Veeam's knowledge baseWhat we expect from you:A university degree in a technical fieldBasic knowledge of Windows/Unix OS and systems administrationUnderstanding of the principles of software design and developmentKnowledge of algorithms and data structuresBasic knowledge of Syslog and RESTful APIsAbility to quickly learn, understand, and explain technical informationEnglish proficiency sufficient to communicate with international teamsWill be an advantage:Experience with any SIEM services such as Splunk SOAR, Palo Alto Cortex XSOAR, Cisco XDR, Crowdstrike Falcon, etc.Experience with GitWe offer:Medical insurance for you, your spouse, and your children (up to the age of 18)Statutory insurances: Veeam covers employee's healthcare, nursing care, and unemployment insurances contributions.Accident insurance: Worldwide 24/7 coverage of accident cases including invalidity benefit, rescue costs coverage, death and disability coverageVeeam Care Days – additional 24 hours for your volunteering activitiesProfessional training and education, including courses and workshops, internal meetups, and unlimited access to our online learning platforms and mentoring through our MentorLab programPlease note: If the applicant is permanently present outside of Portugal, Veeam reserves the right to refuse to consider the application for a job.
