Site Reliability Engineer (m/f/d)Moonfare is seeking a motivated Sr. Site Reliability Engineer to join our dynamic team.
You will play a key role in ensuring that our systems are robust, scalable, and highly available.
You will work closely with development, security and platform teams to improve the reliability, performance, and efficiency of our applications and infrastructure.
Your primary focus will be automating processes, improving system reliability, and resolving technical challenges while balancing speed and risk.
You will also contribute to our incident management processes and help shape the future of our engineering practices.You will:Design, implement, and manage infrastructure as code using Terragrunt and Terraform.Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes and Docker.Help utilize AWS services (EC2, S3, SQS, SNS, etc.)
for building and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure.Write and maintain scripts in Go to automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency.Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting systems using New Relic, OpenTelemetry, and the Grafana stack.Work closely with development and QA teams to streamline the build, test, and release processes.Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues - participating in on-call rotations as required.Document infrastructure changes, incidents, and postmortem reports to ensure transparency and facilitate knowledge sharing.The next Moonfarian:At least 5 years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or in a similar role with a focus on reliability and performance.Proven experience in cloud platforms (e.G., AWS) and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.G., Terraform).Proficient in at least one scripting or programming language (e.G., Python, Go, Bash, etc.
).Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks (e.G., Jenkins, Github Actions, Argo CD).In-depth knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and container orchestration systems.Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.G., Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic, Datadog).Good verbal and written English communication skills
