As Java Cloud Backend Developer, you will be part of the new company to be set up this year and thus contribute to a globally networked team of +4300 colleagues operating in over 50 countries.
In this role, you will contribute to the mission of delivering ingenious cloud services at scale. You will help drive product development and act as part of cross-functional teams to define and deliver on the next phase of dynamic cloud services.
Education: University degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related technical field.Additional qualifications in web-product design and development, interface design, or a comparable field of study are advantageous.Requirements: + 3 years in software development with relevant work experience on complex, web-based software products and services, ideally in a security environment.Experience working in the development context of cloud applications, SaaS, and emerging cloud use-cases for web/mobile and enterprise.Expertise in Java backend development with a focus on security, using frameworks like Spring and Junit.Proficiency in SDLC, SCRUM, and Continuous Delivery practices.Experience with REST APIs, HTML, and modern web technologies.Skilled in deploying applications on Wildfly and Tomcat, with configuration management using Ansible.Strong database knowledge (MySQL) and familiarity with tools like Splunk and Sahi for monitoring and testing.Creative and willing to work in an international, agile team.You have a drive to apply the newest technology, methods, tools, and trends in a highly professional and customer value-centric development environment.Work includes: Hybrid work system (2 days at the office).Exchange with colleagues around the world.Health insurance and medical office on site (nutrition, psychology, physiotherapy, and general clinic).Training opportunities (i.e., technical training, foreign languages training) & certifications.Opportunities for career progression and continuous professional development.Access to great discounts in partnerships and Bosch products.Sports and health-related activities (gym).Free transport from Porto.Success stories don't just happen.
