To expand our Communications team in Lisbon, we are looking for a Social Media Intern - starting latest in April 2023 - who will play a key role in Corporate Communication. In this full-time internship, we are offering a great opportunity to work on social media & communication projects, gain broad experience, and get precious insights for a future career within an agile & digital environment.

**IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL**:

- Co-manage Mercedes-Benz.io’s social media presence (on Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube).
- Develop our social media calendar aligned with internal and external topics.
- Brainstorm campaigns and post ideas.
- Be an active part of our Social Media Team and create relevant content which reflects our brand, culture, product development, and workflows.
- Collect and analyze social media analytics from our Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube, to keep track of our KPIs.
- Engage and further community engagement.
- Find and research company-relevant topics.
- Ensure a consistent tone of voice, following our social media playbook.
- Support the communication team on their mission to bring the Mercedes-Benz.io brand values into the heads of this world.

**TO SUCCEED YOU NEED**:

- Your written and spoken English skills are so flawless, you can proof-read texts before they get published (according to the 4-eyes principle)
- You are self-organized, adapt to last-minute changes, and get involved proactively and hands-on in all communication initiatives
- You know all about the latest developments in YouTube, LinkedIn & Instagram algorithms and know how to compete with them
- You know how to support the development of social media assets, including photo, video, and audio content.
- You keep your ears open, and you have heard of the latest social media channels like TikTok, BeReal, or Twitch. You don’t have to be experienced in working with them, but we would love to hear your opinion on their potential
- You are attending to detail and proactive in identifying improvement areas and proposing solutions

**THERE WILL BE BIG SMILES IF YOU**:

- Have some experience with WordPress and Photoshop and Canva
- Have experience in social media, content creation, and online marketing
- Are currently pursuing or have a degree in communications, marketing, or a related field
