Job purpose

This MQT position will provide support on warranty issues by analyzing and documenting part failures due to production issues or returns due to customer complaints. This role will report to a Product Line Manager of the area.

Location

Viana do Castelo plant, Portugal

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Carry out tests using equipment for electronic products (eg. heaters)
- Analyze warranty parts and document.
- Conduct trials.
- Create documentation and report associated with test results.
- Analyze customer returned parts complaints.
- Propose production and quality improvements related to customer complaints.
- Participate in problem solving meetings.
- Respect the safety and cleanliness rules of the workplace
- Comply with safety standards, quality, productivity, hygiene and environmental protection
- Comply with the organization's rules and internal regulations such as Ethics Code
- Perform other tasks not included in the activity for which he was hired, when needs or service convenience warranted for a period of time defined as necessary
- EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

- Technical Diploma in Electronic/Mechatronic area or similar
- 0-2 years related work experience is a plus
- Good MS Office knowledge
- Problem Solving (5W;Ishikawa;PDCA;8D) (valued)
- Knowledge of quality tools
- Good English skills
- Proficiency in Portuguese
