Role Purpose:
Support the maintenance manager to optimise maintenance activities mechanically and/or electrically to achieve the service level and the efficiency required and ensure all the activities are performed in a safe way according Sibelco’s policy, guidelines and values.

1) Operational Excellence: Execute maintenance activities in the site according to the Operational Excellence Principle- Continuously communicate with production management to ensure maintenance activities are performed in a timely manner and the production downtime is limited to a minimum- Daily control the site to identify maintenance issues and ensure important issues are handled as a priority- Follow up of the maintenance program (planned/preventive/predictive strategy)

2) Reporting and KPI’s: Perform activities to fulfil the set of predefined KPI’s, i.e. quality and quantity- Register information in the relevant IT system and/or on paper- Control information with the predefined KPI’s and take necessary actions in case of deviation- Build statistics on maintenance to secure preventive maintenance- Manage and monitor document management system

3) Support Maintenance Activities: Support the technicians and/or electricians in the site- Give pro-actively support in case of difficult activities and/or problems- Plan sufficient employees and arrange back-up in case of absence to ensure the scheduled maintenance activities can be met

4) Advisor: Advise the Technology department on the setup and execution of new processes and/or technologies- Participate in project groups- Advise engineers based on practical/theoretical knowledge of the processes

5) Spare Part Strategy: Follow up the spare part strategy for all maintenance related stock and manage correctly the spare part warehouse- Advise the warehouse supervisor on what to keep in stock- Control stock

7) People Management: Motivate and evaluate the team members to enhance team collaboration and support their individual development and growth- Execute the training plan- Identify competency gaps within the maintenance team

About you:
- Technical degree in mechanics or electronics or equivalent by experience- Prior experience in a supervisor role- Technical English - read and understand- Local language of the country of base and main operations - proficient verbal &
