Mystic Cruises is an ocean cruise division belonging to Mystic Invest, a Portuguese privately held financial holding with more than 25 years of experience in the shipping sector.

Our ambition is to launch several luxury expedition ships and become a relevant player in the cruise industry. World Explorer is the first vessel in our fleet of ocean-going ships.

The Mystic Cruises fleet will be reserved by quality charter clients, engaged in providing a remarkable experience to their guests.

**Job Description**:
**We are hiring.**

We have an exiting position open for you as Itinerary Planner for Mystic Cruises fleet.

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan worldwide deployment for multiple cruise brands and charter clients in conjunction with senior management.
- Optimize all itineraries for speed, fuel consumption, port rotations, logistics, potential tax exemptions and port costs.
- Make changes, updates and re-deployments when needed (berth availability issues, Health & Safety requirements, other).
- Monitor competition and ensure adequate product positioning as well as anticipating to market trends.
- Research for new cruise ideas and regions with special focus on Expedition cruising.
- Analyze destination performance statistics and charter feedback to determine guest satisfaction and destination suitability for developing future cruises.
- Conduct port inspections to determine adequacy of port and berthing facilities, to evaluate safety and accessibility for the vessels and guests.
- Know how to read navigational charts and use ECDIS software to check distances, predict tides and potential weather patterns.
- Ensure the cruise concepts are understood and delivered through effective communication internally and externally.

**Qualifications**:
**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Economics, (Nautical college or International Shipping Management Bachelor will be a plus).
- Experience in using ECDIS software (will be a plus).
- Minimum 3-year work experience in the Maritime industry, preferable Cruise Industry.
- Experience in Expedition cruise market would be an advantage.
- Confident working with diverse teams and flexible to adapt to an always changing environment and to industry challenges.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in English is required for this role.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs and Marine Exchange Programm Knowledge.
