**Manufacturing and Global Procurement > COO MED > Maintenance Services**

MED Regional Procurement Organization (RPO) is responsible for coordinating MED (South Europe and MENA) Vestas' spend with external suppliers. With a matrix organization, with global and regional roles, the RPO ensures the deployment of common strategies and processes with the same overall vision across all Vestas regions. You will report to the Head of MED Service Procurement, the full team is working cross-functionally and is responsible for managing all Procurement activities related to Service business.

**Responsibilities**

We are looking for a Cranes purchaser to join the team. Your responsibilities will cover:

- Define and implement, together with the global team, the MED Cranes category strategy
- Support regional activities running RFQ's for Cranes (stakeholder management, supplier selection, contract preparation and negotiation)
- Support MED sales team on finding subcontractors in new Markets
- Ensure that suppliers are supporting Vestas goals in terms of cost, delivery, quality and safety
- Lead Supplier relationship and performance management
- Work in collaboration with the team members to ensure RPO targets are achieved

**Qualifications**
- We are looking for an enthusiastic procurement professional, ideally with a previous experience in a similar category
- A bachelor/diploma or Master's degree in the field of (or related to) Supply Chain Management (either Business or Engineering) is required
- Experience of 4 years in Procurement
- Highly proficient in English, written and verbal, and ideally in French and Arabic. Other languages will be highly valued (Spanish, Portuguese, Italian...)

- A structured person with analytical and negotiation skills
- Cross-cultural skills (will work as part of an international team)
- Team working competencies within a Matrix organization
- Ability to prioritize in a time-sensitive situation
