**VIE Compliance Officer, CIB - Lisbon, M/F**

**Your daily routine?**

Your daily missions are:

- Compliance Advisory to Business on Market Integrity, Protection of Interests of Clients, Professional Ethics, Anti-Bribery and Corruption (as an example market - non-public - sensitive information handling, conflicts of interests mapping and management, marketing material advisory, staff classification, gifts & invitations, external mandates & activities; occasionally on some Financial Security-Know Your Clients tasks); Compliance Risk Assessment performance in relation to the local Regulations applicable to outsourced activities; Compliance training.
- Compliance controls, indicators and reporting on the topics reported above as part of BNP Paribas Compliance risk oversight.
- Compliance development (creation of new local procedures, modus operandi, controls and training support; contribution to the several Compliance projects that will be launched depending on BNP Paribas Compliance Program).

At the end of the VIE program, you will acquire solid skills to work in any Functions handling risks, controls, audit, projects; you will interact on a large scale with all Businesses and Functions of BNP Paribas, locally and across the Group.

Through this mission, you will have a deep knowledge of BNP Paribas Group and its organization; you will contribute to the management and development of very high sensitive topics and risks internally with BNP Paribas Group, and externally with Authorities and Regulators.

**The working environment is important**

You will be integrated in the Territory Compliance Portugal department, an independent and vertically integrated function at BNP Paribas Group, but still very close to Business.

The department is made of 10 Compliance Officers, with senior profiles and very different backgrounds, and 3 interns helping the Compliance Officers in their day-to-day tasks. The work environment is very international and dynamic.

Territory Compliance Portugal is based in Lisbon - Portugal, in Colombo premises, in the city, very close to public transports and shopping.

The Portuguese entity of BNP Paribas has increased significantly in the last years, in staff and types of activities performed locally, majority of them outsourced to Portugal in the frame of a global BNP Paribas Development/Transformation Program. The entity will continue to growth in the upcoming years.

You will:

- gain a deep knowledge of BNP Paribas and its organization;
- develop strong skills and competences to handle the Compliance risks of a large Bank Group;
- develop a large network being in contact with potentially all Businesses and Functions, locally and across the Group;
- work in a very international and dynamic work environment (regulations and Group rules evolving on a continuous basis).

**Are you our next **VIE?**

You have a Master’s degree, majoring in Finance, Economics, Compliance or Law. You have a solid knowledge of risk and of investment banking and markets. You have gained first relevant experience (internships and work-study program included) on similar missions.

You speak fluent English and you have a very good command of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

You demonstrate adaptability and team spirit. Your communication, your analytical skills and your detail orientation will be assets to progress on this mission.
