Technology can be a major driver for sustainability, but the impact of the solution needs to be mitigated so that it doesn’t become part of the problem. TUI has therefore implemented technology and data as a focus area of its Sustainability Agenda:

- By using technology innovation to drive sustainability initiatives and transform the business model (sustainability BY technology)
- By measuring the ESG impacts of technology, and working to ensure it’s designed, developed, and deployed sustainably (sustainability OF technology)

The Business Analyst Sustainability Technology is a critical thinker with a keen eye for detail. Actively consulting with stakeholders, probing to create and communicate a common understanding of the problem that needs solving. Working within a fast-paced agile environment, the Business Analyst Sustainability Technology thinks outside of the box, loves collaborating across teams and is a lifelong learner. **WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**:

- Drive the sustainability transformation of TUI Technology
- Take ownership in the implementation of strategic projects of the Sustainability Technology Strategy in close collaboration with the team and other IT and business departments
- Support in creating and maintaining project plans and delivery roadmaps, anticipating risks to schedule or budget and continuously optimising critical paths.
- Conduct research and continuous learning on how technology can drive and support sustainability transformation within TUI, key trends in the industry, and the most pressing developments in the area of technology sustainability
- Establish and maintain a sustainable awareness program in IT community in close collaboration with HR and workers council
- Conduct research and implement measures to comply with regulatory and voluntary frameworks on sustainability
- Support the Team Lead and Master Domain Owner in representative tasks, meeting preparation and presentation as well as in supervising interns and working students
- Participate in internal and external networks, conferences, workshops and trainings

**WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR**:

- Bachelor or Master’s studies in the field of environmental or sustainability management, economics, IT, or similar
- Hands-on experience in driving sustainability projects and programs and enthusiasm for technology
- Experience in sustainability regulations concerning TUI Technology: German Supply Chain Act, German Energy efficiency law for data centers
- Experience in setting up learning & development initiatives and good knowledge of co-determination processes especially in Germany
- Ideally experience in one or more of the following topics: carbon footprint measurement, circular economy, ESG data, green cloud, hardware lifecycle management, sustainability awareness, green coding or related fields
- Collaborative approach, able to balance the needs of multiple stakeholders and facilitate agreement across multiple markets in a global structure
- Hands-on working mentality with analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English. German skills are an advantage
- Very good Microsoft Office knowledge, especially PowerPoint, Excel and collaboration tools
- Open minded, inquisitive, life-long learner
- Comfortable with ambiguity, highly autonomous
