We're looking for an awesome **Product Manager | Diagnostics** to join our team on our journey to revolutionize personalized medicine

**Job Description**:
**About your Role / What will you be doing?**
- You will own the product life cycle (from ideation to EOL) of one of our Diagnostic product lines, define product strategy and key milestones and communicate this to all stakeholders.
- Identify and explore product opportunities for iLoF platform considering market opportunity, customer needs, technical feasibility, and strategic alignment.
- Establish product specifications based on a strong understanding of customer requirements and foundational science.
- Assess the competitive landscape and wider markets to ensure commercial alignment, establish potential points of distinctive competence and identify relevant trends for future product innovation.
- Drive a strong product-focused culture at iLoF, including engaging with internal teams to ensure development processes are in alignment with product specifications.
- Create and execute strategies for product validation through to product launch and continue market-driven innovation post-launch as required.
- Communicate effectively across photonics, AI, software and biology teams.
- Manage relationships with collaborators and customers receiving iLoF’s products, and use collaborator/ customer feedback to iteratively improve products.

**Job Location**:

- Flexible (travel to be expected between UK and Portugal)

**Qualifications**:
**Technical Skills**✔️**
- Master's Degree in a life sciences field (Bonus: PhD)
- + 3 years experience within Healthtech/ Biotech/ Medtech (Bonus: Startup experience)
- + 2 years experience as Product Manager (Bonus: Diagnostics experience)

**Cultural Skills**✔️**
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment that may require adapting quickly to new directions or taking initiative and ownership of key workstreams
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to articulate strategy, roadmaps, and vision to a range of technical and business audiences
- Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and demonstrated financial, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to gain consensus among cross-functional teams and build positive working

**Bonus Skills**:

- Understanding of Optics (spectroscopy, Raman, FTIR or similar techniques)
- Understanding of AI (machine learning, deep learning)
