**About the UK Corporate Reporting team**

The Corporate reporting team supports all the Hiscox UK Retail teams with a focus on self-service capability. With a wide base of internal clients we are required to support these teams with meaningful information, with the aim to back their business decisions and contribute to our shared success.

The team is currently on a strategic journey to change the way we deliver information to our users. By building a sustainable platform, the end goal is to provide our internal clients the ability to consume data on their own, helping them to understand their requirements as well as delivering outstanding visualisations which in turn enhances the quality of their business decisions and therefore contribute to the overall success of Hiscox.

**The Role**

The Corporate Reporting & Data Quality Analyst is a position within the UK Insurance Analytics team responsible for the delivery of reporting to the Hiscox UK retail business, via reports, scorecards and analytics. The main focus of this role will be to deliver, maintain, and simplify existing content and develop new content - working with business stakeholders to understand requirements and needs, then working independently or with our data engineering teams to design and deliver a solution that supports this. When the foundations are in place, the technical analyst will then move their focus to the provision of insights to a varied client base.

**Corporate reporting must haves**
- Minimum of two years relevant experience including past experience of delivery
- Advanced user in Microsoft Excel
- Good working knowledge of SQL
- Customer Relationship Management - ability to build productive relationships with end users

**Personality traits you should bring**
- Ability to engage with stakeholders to define business requirements and deliver suitable robust solutions
- Motivated self-starter who can work autonomously and add value in a team
- Passionate with a can-do attitude, looking forward to unlocking the value that exists within our data
- Ability to sell ideas and concepts providing background knowledge and information to the team as well as internal customers
- Ability to link business needs to IT deliveries
- Ability to work with ambiguity and change
- Flexibility in both attitude and delivery style
- Resilience

**Nice to haves**
- Experience with BI tools e.g. Microsoft BI tools
- A background in Business Intelligence with both an understanding of the concepts and the delivery of multiple projects
- Experience in the Insurance sector or Financial Services.
