**Who are we?**

Nicon Care is a professional care provider that has been offering home care services to Amsterdam residents in need of care since 2009. As a partner of the municipality of Amsterdam, we have been providing Domestic Support to Amsterdam residents who can no longer do this independently due to their disabilities since 2017.

Over the past three years, we have grown rapidly in both Amsterdam and Almere and have made countless people happy by letting them live at home in their familiar environment for as long as possible. We have been able to achieve this by keeping the lines of communication within our organization short. The management and directors are closely involved in the provision of care and also cooperate in the field. As a result, we are well informed about the needs of our clients and we know what our colleagues need.

**Description of the work**

As a cleaner you help people in Amsterdam clean their homes. This group of Amsterdam residents needs your help in carrying out household tasks that they can no longer do independently. The great thing about this work is that you deal with different people with different needs and wishes, so you always encounter challenges.

In addition, as a cleaner, we involve you in important decisions relating to your position. Your opinion is important to us so that we can make the right decisions.

**What are we looking for?**
- We are looking for colleagues from Portugal with cleaning experience.
- We are looking for someone with social and empathetic skills who wants to support Amsterdam residents in carrying out household tasks, so that they can live in a clean, safe and comfortable environment.
- We are looking for someone who respects the privacy and cultural diversity of our clients.
- We are looking for someone who is physically able to perform household tasks.
- We are looking for someone who has an eye for detail and works accurately when carrying out household tasks.
- We are looking for someone who wants to build a relationship of trust with his/her regular clients and has an eye for their well-being.
