We are looking for a motivated and driven Business Data Analyst (M/F/d) who will help us steer and optimize the cost of our Bus Partnership globally as well as streamline our supply process.

Flix' success is based on long-term partnerships with our bus partners with whom we share responsibilities for cost and revenues. The Global Business Excellence team runs projects and steers bus partner managers in minimizing production costs and hence in improving the profitability of our partnership.

You will join a growing, cross-functional and tech-supported team and bring our analytics and steering to the next level. In doing so you will work with all Flix local teams (+30 Countries) to achieve common solutions we can scale our business with.

Your Tasks - Paint the world green
- You participate in and/or also drive yourself high-impact projects affecting our running operations with a high degree of autonomy and take on large responsibilities from day one, with exposure to top management;
- You work closely with various HQ functions as well as stakeholders from individual local Flix offices spread around the globe who are in direct contact with our bus partners to explore and understand their work and requirements in order to define and build analytics solutions that best suit their needs;
- You create and develop methods, tools and suitable KPIs for our performance management around bus partnership costs;
- You analyze data and challenge decision proposals; You prepare analysis for our management and recommend decisions;
- You take part in and support our global supply and network planning process by analyzing data along the way;
- You proactively develop new approaches in benchmarking costs and understanding our bus partners sustainability;
- You develop your own predictive models and/or simulation tools which will be used by our local BD teams to calculate and understand the impact of negotiations and decisions;
- You help us understand possible cost optimization projects and initiate those;
- You become an expert in Flix data landscape to serve as a point of contact to various stakeholders from business and tech who need data insights to inform their projects;
- You collect data from multiple sources and create reports that help you and management analyze performance and understand our partnerships' sustainability;
- In all of that, you support the implementation of global supply chain strategy to achieve sustainable growth.

Your Profile - Ready to hop on board
- You have a successfully completed university degree, preferably in the field of Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, Social Sciences, Business Informatics, Economics or similar;
- You have at least 2 years of professional experience as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, Controller or similar with considerable experience in Project Management;
- You have very strong analytical skills, have a good understanding of business contexts and a quick grasp of complex issues;
- You are familiar with common methods and tools for cleaning and merging different data sources as well as data preparation and visualization;
- You have advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and in data visualization tools like Power BI and/or Tableau;
- You bring good knowledge of SQL, being proficient in a programming language (e.g. Python) is a plus;
- You are able to independently drive your own projects including conducting exploration/research in order to define what needs to be done;
- You are not afraid to explore complicated topics with sometimes conflicting requirements from diverse set of stakeholders in order to evaluate them and achieve common consensus with resulting solution definition;
- You have excellent and precise verbal and written communication skills in English;
- You have good presentation skills and feel comfortable in presenting to larger audiences;
- You have an entrepreneurial spirit, are strongly driven, self-organized, structured, an independent worker, and highly reliable.
