Cybersecurity Trainee

A Snapshot of Your Day

Starting the morning, you will be involved in discussions with colleagues from your team to prepare and plan the cybersecurity evaluations that will be made. Before noon, you will have already participated in meetings with business or IT colleagues to understand how they are executing controls and mitigating the risks already identified. You will be registering and documenting all the information provided and comparing this information with standards and requirements. In the end of the day, you will be participating in the elaboration of the evaluation report, showing the improvements points (if found) the identified risks stakeholders will have to implement in order to mitigate them accordingly to the expected.

How You’ll Make an Impact
- Supporting the performance of 2nd line of defense security assessments regarding IT and OT infrastructures, products, solutions, services and their related processes and controls.
- Collecting and analysing information gathered during the cybersecurity assessments.
- Supporting the team during ISO 27001 certification projects of the corporate and manufacture business areas
- Supporting in the identification of the remediation activities regarding nonconformities found in cybersecurity and ISO 27001 assessments.
- Participating, together with the cybersecurity team, in the identification and definition of cyber risks.
- Participating in project closing meetings with management.

What You Bring
- Concluding University degree in Information Technology, Engineering or similar.
- Knowledge and/or interest in some of the following topic: ISO 27001, IT audit, information security, cybersecurity, IT risk management, IT GRC, IT general controls, or development of industrial IT services and solutions, ITIL.
- As you act in an international environment, you are willing to travel and therefore demonstrate business-fluent English language skills (English on a C1 level). German and Portuguese language skills are a plus.
- You have very good communication and presentation skills as well as are willing to learn about the latest trends in Cybersecurity and keep up to date in a continuously challenging environment.
- Furthermore, you bring multicultural sensitivity, innovative thinking with solid analytical skills.
