**YOUR SKILLS**:

- OBD Expertise: A strong understanding of OBD, ACC2, and other international regulations on emission.
- Demonstrated experience in achieving and maintaining regulatory compliance within theautomotive industry, preferably with CARB and MIIT regulations.
- System and Software Architecture: Proven experience in designing system and software architectures for automotive products, emphasizing solutions adhering with OBD/ACC2 requirements and allowing for maximum separation of regulated and non-regulated components.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Lean-agile Product Development: Understanding agile values, principles and practices and passion for state-of-the-art software engineering practices such as CI/CD, everything-as-code, DevOps.
- Documentation: Strong record-keeping and documentation skills to ensure thorough compliance records.
- Growth Mindset: Readiness to accept challenges and push the limits. Excitement for being part of something new, building a new organization from the scratch.
- Languages: Good command of English and German, fluent in either of those languages.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**:

- As an OBD Architect within our agile product development organization, you will play a vital role in aligning our products on emission and propulsion regulations, defined by agencies like the CARB, MIIT, EC etc. Your key responsibilities will include:

- Regulatory Compliance: Lead the development of OBD and ACC2 compliance strategies for Entry & Go systems to meet regulatory requirements closely aligned with the company's governance and certification departments.
- System and Software Architecture: Design and maintain the system and software architecture that ensures regulatory compliance while effectively mitigating the impact on non-regulated function by decoupling regulated from non-regulated software as much as possible and by supporting an efficient impact analysis.
- System Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and validation of OBD software into our product.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation and records of compliance efforts to demonstrate adherence to the regulations.
- Regulatory Updates: Stay informed about evolving regulations and adapt the software architecture as necessary.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, product managers, and regulators experts to align software design with compliance objectives.
