**What you’ll do**:

- Create and drive corporate-wide strategy and approach to cyber-security
- Providing leadership, guidance, and training to the organization
- Define, implement, and maintain corporate security policies and procedures. Ensure that security design and cybersecurity development activities are properly documented (providing a functional description of security implementation) and updated as necessary
- Ensure that IT Infrastructure and cybersecurity-enabled products or other compensating security control technologies reduce identified risk to an acceptable level
- Institute organization-wide training in security awareness, protocols, and procedures
- Document and escalate incidents (including event’s history, status, and potential impact for further action) that may cause ongoing and immediate impact to the environment
- Work with stakeholders to resolve computer security incidents and vulnerability compliance
- Perform security reviews/audits and identify security gaps in security architecture resulting in recommendations for inclusion in the risk mitigation strategy
- Create and manage Disaster Recovery, Contingency, and Continuity of Operations Plans
- Provide input to the Risk Management Framework process activities and related documentation (e.g., system life-cycle support plans, concept of operations, operational procedures, and maintenance training materials)
- Support necessary compliance activities (e.g., ensure that system security configuration guidelines are followed, compliance monitoring occurs)
- Provide direction and procedures to work groups to ensure that all departments satisfy annual audit criteria for existing compliance certifications which includes but is not limited to ISO 27001
- Perform internal audits to ensure ISO 27001 compliance and work with external auditors to provide requested information and ensure ISO 27001 audit success
- Operate and maintain the ISMS processes based on the ISO 27001 standards, including certification

**What you’ll need to succeed**:

- Proficiency in written and spoken English
- Education: Computer Science/Cybersecurity/Information Technology or equivalent field of study
- 8+ years' experience in IT Infrastructure: Systems, Networking, Operations, and Security experience, including expertise in Cybersecurity, Cloud Security, Application Security, and Risk Management
- 2+ years' experience with ISO 27001 certification and ISMS controls is preferred
- Certification in the following technologies and industry standards is a plus: Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, CISSP, CISA, and CISM
- Strong interpersonal skills with effective verbal and written communication skills
- Proven success building relationships with partners and stakeholders
- Ability to function effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Motivation to expand knowledge and skills for self and others
- Ability to identify systemic security issues based on the analysis of vulnerability and configuration data.
- Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, Azure, and Office 365 administration experience, including expertise in system monitoring tools and commands and hands-on configuring and troubleshooting skills to ensure quick and efficient resolution of issues is essential
