BYT is a spinoff of Boost IT that aims to use all the knowledge and experience created over 4 years, with a management team that has more than 15 years of experience.

Created in December 2021, after 4 years of delivering the specialized recruitment service with great success under Boost IT name. During these 4 years we carried out more than 400 specialized recruitment processes for 20 different clients, both in Portugal and Internationally.The success of the direct recruitment business area within Boost IT was so successful that we decided, in 2021, to create BYT.

**About the opportunity**:
We’re currently looking for a Data Scientist to join an opportunity with a direct contractual link with a specialized company in data and statistics projects.

Tasks

\- Development and implementation of projects in the areas of Statistical Analysis, Data Mining, Forecasting, Segmentation, development of Analytical projects and process automation;
\- Functional analysis and identification of business problems;
\- Creation of models using IBM SPSS tools;
\- Technical support for clients.

**Requirements**:
\- Bachelor or Masters Degree in Data Science, Computer Science or related field;
\- +4 years of experience as Data Scientist;
\- Knowledge of statistics and data mining;
\- At least 1 year's experience in developing Data Mining and Predictive Analysis projects;
\- Good level of English.

**Nice to Have**:
\- knowledge of IBM SPSS Statistics, IBM SPSS Modeler, R, Python or other data analysis tools;
\- knowledge of some of these technologies MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL,VB.NET, Java, HTML, Visual Studio.NET;
