**Your new role**
Internalizing the Accounting practice
- Implementing ERP / Accounting software (Odoo)
- Ensure bookkeeping, monitoring and reporting general accounting activity, including Monthly and Year End Accounts, in a timely matter for all subsidiaries and at a consolidated level
- Handle account receivables and account payables
- Prepare Financial Statements according to PT & US GAAP, for management reports, investor requests and audit purposes
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders when needed

Managing Payrol
- Management of Payroll and related end-of-the-year declarations.

Ensuring Compliance with Tax Obligations
- Prepare and submit local tax and parafiscal returns, acting as a point of contact for tax authorities, dealing with new queries and ensuring that any inquiries are managed promptly and effectively
- Provide support in funding and be a strategic partner for company structure and development.

Building the company’s reporting system
- Support with financial planning, forecasts and budget submissions
- Manage the reporting, forecasting and analysis of revenues, costs and investments across a variety of projects, clients and geographies
- Keep up-to-date Dashboards with main operational and financial indicators

Reporting to the Head of Finance
- Periodic insights, metrics & updates to drive business decisions, sync with all the other departments for the best fast-paced aligned execution.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- You’re a chartered accountant - You have 5+ years of strong experience in accounting and tax (preferably), including leadership roles
- You are aware of National and International Accounting Standards - You’re an absolute master of the Portuguese GAAP and (preferably) knowledgeable of IFRS and US GAAP
- You’re knowledgeable of VAT, Corporate and Personal Tax Responsibilities
- Payroll is a piece of cake to you
- You’re a Reporting Master - You produce the prettiest and easiest-to-interpret dashboards with the most relevant operational and financial metrics
- You combine an enterprise toolkit with a startup mindset - Experience in a Startup environment is a plus. Ability to prioritize and adapt to changing priorities. There’s a lot of work to do, so you’ll want to be someone that thrives in a fast-paced environment
- You’re an Accounting Tech Savvy - Having experience with Accounting Softwares and ERP systems (Odoo, preferably) is a must
- Shakespeare speaks to your heart - Strong written and verbal English language communication skills, ability to communicate effectively and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively.
