BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for “dynamic, results driven” individual to join as an Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable at our new production plant in Viana, Portugal.

Key Accountabilities:

- Confirmation of invoices: quantity, price, payment method and respective due dates
- Accounting reconciliations
- Direct collaboration with suppliers
- Support the administration in financial and legal matters with suppliers
- Control monthly cost increases
- Control monthly income accruals
- Implements and coordinates new measures that support the objectives outlined by the management
- Propose improvements and actions to improve the level of service in your area of expertise
- Control monthly cost accruals
- Complete reports accurately and timely and in accordance with established corporate controls and accounting principles
- Collaborate directly with other departments
- Monitor internal and external audits
- Make invoices for customers
- Manage checking accounts and assess customer credit status
- Monitor customer consultation actions (invoices and payments)
- Search and verify discrepancies in a current and accurate way ensuring risk analysis
- Ensure the maintenance and validation of customer data and billing items
- Manage and coordinate collection actions with customers
- Manage and monitor debt situations, ensuring the definition of action measures to be taken
- Manage Intrastat
- Carry out accounting reconciliations
- Comply with environmental, health and safety, quality and productivity standards
- Comply with the organization's rules and internal regulations: Code of Ethics, Practice and Schedule
- Respect workplace safety and cleanliness rules
- Respect and comply with environmental policy rules
- Perform other tasks not included in the activity for which he was hired, when the needs or convenience of the service justify it, for the period necessary for the said needs or conveniences of servisse

Education & Experience
- Degree in: finance, accounting, management
- Very good accounting skills
- One year of experience
- Good computer skills
- Results Oriented
- Interpersonal Communication
- Fluent in English
- SAP (preferable)
- German or French (preferable)
- Certified accountant (preferable)
- US GAAP Knowledge (preferable)
- Experience in automotive industry (preferable)
