**Role Objective**

This role will involve accounting and reporting responsibilities, month end close duties, accounts receivable tasks, treasury management, financial reporting consolidations and eliminations as well as ad hoc projects. The Corporate Accounting - Analyst/Associate will be a member of the Corporate Finance team.

**Responsibilities**
- Overseeing A/R functions relating to various platform solutions activity:

- Ensure accuracy of platform solution revenue calculations and receivables
- Liaising with team members and clients for revenue tracking, processing, booking and reporting
- Assist with invoicing processes
- Month End Close
- Calculate and consolidate P&L and Balance Sheet data in order to prepare and book journal entries for various entities
- Interact with internal Relationship Managers, internal Legal team, and external key contacts
- Assisting with the maintenance of all invoices and accounting files
- Cash Reconciliation
- Reconcile cash inflows / outflows between the firm's bank accounts and general ledger
- Prepare monthly cash reconciliations
- Other
- Identify and remediate process gaps and implementing effective internal controls; improve documentation of internal control processes
- Assist in completing special projects as needed such as implementation of new invoicing tools
- Demonstrates ability to take on new, challenging assignments on a spontaneous basis.
- Ability to coordinate across multiple departments to complete assignments that require collaboration, including providing financial data
- 2 - 4 years of corporate accounting/public accounting experience within the financial services industry. Familiarity with Alternative Investments would be preferred
- Understanding of GAAP reporting
- Familiarity with Oracle NetSuite and/or General Ledger systems (i.e., PeopleSoft, Axiom) preferred but not required
- Knowledge of booking journal entries and the resulting impact to the financial statements
- Fund accounting experience preferred but not required
- Degree in Accounting required
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to manage large sets of data and be able to implement checks and balances
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Detailed oriented with big picture capability
- Ability to interpret legal/fund documents
