ABOUT IMPROVE

Improve International was established in 1998 by a group of veterinary surgeons from across the UK. We run Continuous Professional Development training from veterinary professionals to help develop the skills and knowledge required in practice.

Our programmes utilise a combination of review lectures, case-based discussion and, where applicable, hands-on practical sessions. Within Improve we also have the function of ‘The International School of Veterinary Postgraduate Studies (ISVPS)’. This function is dedicated to providing veterinary surgeons, nurses and technicians with high quality, achievable qualifications that are recognised internationally. We are an international organisation with offices in the UK and Portugal.

JOB PURPOSE

As a Social Media and Content Specialist at Improve International, you will play a crucial role in raising brand awareness worldwide through creating engagement and interest across online channels.

Key to success in this role is collaboration with the Multimedia Designer to create compelling and impactful content both for our brands and our courses / qualifications. Furthermore, you will work closely with the Country Marketing Managers and Central Marketing Team to ensure alignment and consistency in marketing strategies and activities. This also includes managing the different social media and go-to-market priorities across all markets, ensuring we can be agile and respond to market demands - so excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are essential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

**Content management**
- Deliver and implement the strategic content plan aligned to the global marketing strategy and organisational goals
- Plan and manage different content schedules, coordinate social media community management and ensure content scheduling and management.
- Collaborate with the Multimedia Designer to ensure visually appealing and impactful multimedia assets
- Conduct content audits and analysis to optimize performance and identify areas for improvement
- Stay informed about industry trends and along with the digital team incorporate SEO best practices to enhance content visibility and reach

**Collaboration with stakeholders**
- Work closely with the Country Marketing Managers to understand local market dynamics and adapt marketing strategies accordingly
- Coordinate with the Central Marketing Team to ensure consistency and alignment with global marketing initiatives
- Share insights and feedback to inform marketing strategies and campaigns
- Collaborate on the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns that drive sales and brand awareness
- Manage priorities and workflow in collaboration with the Multimedia Designer

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
- Degree in Veterinary Medicine (preferred), Communication or Marketing
- Minimum of 3 years working in social media and content marketing
- Superb writing and proof-reading skills
- Fluent in English (spoken and written) with another European language preferred
- Proven experience in content creation for different media such as newsletters, social media, websites, blog, marketing campaigns, FB and Google Ads
- A creative mindset with a proactive, can-do attitude
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proven skills in managing projects, tasks and workflows
- Experience in implementing successful content SEO strategies
- Familiarity with marketing platforms, such as Facebook Business and Google Analytics
- Focus on delivering results, based on KPI’s and continuous improvement

**BENEFITS**:
**Annual Leave Entitlement**: 23 days plus public holidays, an additional service day after 3 year and again at 10 years to a total of 25 days.
