Plant Buyer Coordinator

**For our location in Portugal / Trofa, we are currently recruiting a**:
**Plant Buyer Coordinator (M/F)**

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Central contact person for the plant-purchasing team of the production plants (worldwide) for purchasing issues in the event of escalation;
- Involvement in complaints management across the different sites when local SQA and Local Purchasing team have no progress towards action plan;
- Participation in the negotiation strategy in close coordination with the central Purchasing and supporting the local plant buyers of the different sites in the negotiations for those under plant purchasing responsibility;
- Implementing cost reduction projects together with the local purchasing in aligment with Commodity;
- Key player who coordinates between the different sites the deployment, execution of purchasing activities and process optimization driven by Central Purchasing;
- Support for a specific plant when needed for “plastic tools” disposition when project goes to service;
- Back-up for a specific plant when required, to support related to processes for series changes;
- Involvement as escalation/coordination role when needed in the preparation, implementation and follow-up of the supplier evaluation.

**Required Competencies**:

- Business administration or engineering studies;
- Professional experience in a similar position, ideally within an international environment;
- Very good negotiation skills and assertiveness;
- Proactive assumption of activities;
- Good team player;
- Organizational and Communication skills;
- Business fluent English skills;
- Willingness to make temporary domestic and foreign trips.
