Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Engineering Groups/ Global AME and support developing the materials and solutions for the different heat transfer Elements, etc.- Work with Engineering and the Global AME to develop samples- Collaborate with Global AME and R&D to develop Engineering guidelines and standards- Provide specific technical expertise for process development (new or modification)- Assist in developing of Equipment Process Documentation including the BOPs- Develop, update, and support the work instructions and drawings pertaining to eThermal products processes- Collaborate with plants in developing the Equipment SOW and acceptance criteria of the equipment- Support plants during new equipment installation- Support in the Development of TPM for the Robots, Assembly Equipment and other auxiliary processes- Perform periodic remote process audits to ensure eThermal products process at the plants is properly maintained- Participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement efforts- Position requires constant communication with engineers, lab technicians, and other employees to improve results of complex processes- Support the production processes to meet business needs and customer requirements. Responsibilities would include root cause analysis, brainstorming solutions, implementing corrective actions, and ensuring elimination of root cause- Participate in Root Cause Corrective action process to investigate internal and external issues- Mentor/Train shop floor personnel on process standards and repair techniques specifically related to the eProduct process- Actively participate in LPPD Workshops and ensure the products and processes defined are robust
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum Technical 2-year degree after high school in Mechanical, Electrical and or Electromechanical education- Desirable requirement: It is strongly recommended to have completed the BW Master in Electronics- Extensive experience in Electronics, Mechanical assembly, Leak testing, Brazing- Experienced in programing Robots- External Axis communication
- Software simulation- Knowledges about temperature curing coatings process- Electrical schematics, wiring and mechanical diagrams- Hardware and peripherals- Servo actuated systems- PLC's (installation, programming, troubleshooting, interconnection)- Automatic and mechanical assembly equipment- Measurement and instrumentation systems- Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Working knowledge of CAD software such as Solidworks and AutoCAD- Creativity and out-of-box thinking in solving problems- Must be a fast learner and proactive performer- Must be an innovator with bottom-up ideas- Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage projects independently- Ability to travel 50% of the time
