We are looking to expand our team and we are currently looking to recruit an **Events Specialist** to join our growing team in Lisbon, Portugal.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Develop and implement event plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
- Coordinate logistics, such as venue selection, catering, audio-visual requirements, transportation, and accommodations.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure events align with organizational objectives and messaging.
- Collaborate with internal departments, external vendors, and sponsors to ensure seamless execution of events.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and sponsors.
- Create and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial guidelines.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
- Develop promotional materials and strategies to generate interest and attendance.
- Coordinate with marketing teams to leverage various channels for event promotion.
- Oversee on-site logistics during events, addressing any issues that may arise.
- Ensure the smooth execution of event programs, managing staff and timetable effectively.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to assess the success of the event and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
- Prepare comprehensive reports, including key metrics, lessons learned, and recommendations for future events.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, incorporating innovative ideas into event planning.
- Bring creativity to the development of themes, activities, and experiences that enhance event engagement.
**Job requirements and competencies**:
- Proven experience in event planning and execution in a corporate environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Portuguese and English languages
- Creativity and innovation in event design and execution.
- Excellent knowledge of office management, administrative or assistant experience
- Budget management and negotiation skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and work under pressure
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Attention to detail and excellent problem solving skills
- The position is fully onsite
- Working hours: 08h00-13h00 & 14h00-17h00 and flexibility during the events duration
