**Role Purpose**:
If you are passionate about UX/UI and conversational AI, we encourage you to join our team. TOBi is one of the main virtual assistants in the world and Vodafone’s fastest growing digital channel and, as UX/UI specialist, you will be accountable to create intuitive, easy to use consistent and engaging designs to enhance user experience of TOBi for web, app, WhatsApp, and voice in the Portuguese market. You will work closely with the development team to ensure designs and guidelines are properly integrated into TOBi, conduct user research, and analyse feedback to improve the user experience, create wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts, continuously test and iterate designs to ensure optimal user experience and stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in UX/UI design for conversational AI. The focus of this position will be on the Portuguese market, but it implies a close collaboration with Vodafone group and 15 other markets where TOBi is currently live.

**Main Responsabilities**:

- Experience managing teams of UI/UX designers and/or testers.
- Ability to communicate with different departments and internal stakeholders.
- Create user-centered designs by considering market & business requirements, data, customer feedback, user research and technical constraints/opportunities.
- Create user flows, wireframes, design mockups, and prototypes to effectively conceptualize new product initiatives.
- Conduct user interviews, UX research, concept testing, usability testing, psychographic analysis and customer/user feedback. Recruit participants, run remote and in-company research and deliver reports with users feedback, results and improvements.
- Perform UX audits and tests to iterate over existing designs and flows in order to optimize the user experience on a recurring basis.
- Simplify and distill complex processes into intuitive and elegant UI.
- Establish and maintain detailed user-interface patterns and specifications according with company’s guidelines.
- Working closely with developers to see your design in deployment and development.
- Communicate complex, interactive design and concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization.
- Follow up for the performance of the executed designs and flows based on data (SUS, NPS, CES and others).

**Ideal Background**:

- 5+ Years of experience on end to end user centric and UX/UI.
- Bachelor’s degree in a UX related area such as: design, HCI, computer sciences, social sciences or a UX specific certification.
- Proven track record and hands-on knowledge for creating a powerful UX/UI in multiple digital platforms both mobile and web-based.
- Experience working in Agile Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
- Should be able to work with cross-functional teams to attain business goals.
- Familiarity with remote design collaboration tools.
- Proficient with Figma and remote UX research tools.
- Familiarity, sense & understanding of UI/UX Design principles.
- Experience as UX/UI team lead with functional responsibility.
- Experience in UX project management.
- Experience designing conversation flows.
- Knowledge of Microcopy or UX copywriting.
- Familiarity working with voice UX flows and voice testing methodologies.
- Fluency in Portuguese and English.
