Overview

As a Product Developer, you will lead all aspects of the development of the new use cases, identifying critical requirements, defining, prioritizing, and managing the implementation roadmap with our development teams, working with our regional teams to prepare our pilots, supporting the initial validation in markets and the launch of the final solution after the pilot. You will be the voice of the customer, working closely with cross-functional teams to understand market needs, identify opportunities, and create innovative solutions.

Role

In this tech-oriented position, you will:

- Act as the product developer, leading the development and execution of the product roadmap
- Define and communicate product vision, strategies, and plans to stakeholders, including senior management and external partners
- Assess market opportunities, build storytelling / narratives and drive business cases that articulate the vision and the value for Mastercard (e.g., customer engagement metrics, revenues)
- Be responsible for value-based prioritization of development activities
- Own prototyping, in-market testing and product commercialization globally, working with regional stakeholders
- Drive thought leadership and innovation through interaction with customers and insight into the market
- Create documentation related to our products, such as technical descriptions, training material, and sales material
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, customer service, sales, and management as well as external partners to deliver high-quality products

You have a strong technical commitment, are passionate about innovation and have experience in various elements of the new product development process. We expect you to develop your talent and aim high with us while you work to change the world of payments. You help us build on our track record in developing and delivering innovative and reliable solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (Business or Engineering)
- Experience in product development, with a proven track record of delivering successful products
- Strong technical commitment and passion for innovation and product development with the ability to translate user requirements into requirements specifications
- Experience with agile processes from idea to delivery
- Project management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and an ability to develop compelling narratives / storylines
- Strong presentation skills to make complex services easy to understand
- Customer-oriented and driven by solving the customer's challenges
- Proven ability to collaborate with others and handle many stakeholders in a diplomatic way
- Passion for fintech, IT, banking and finance, product development
