**Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for ticket handling (2nd/3rd level) within the Compute team.
- Manage and maintain MS SQL Server infrastructure to ensure availability, optimal performance and security.
- Maintain the SQL Always-On Cluster, Windows servers, ensuring performance, availability and security.
- Assist colleagues regarding infrastructure requests and with troubleshooting.
- Support internal IT projects, offering expertise in SQL server, Windows server, and its automation.
- Automate standard service requests and infrastructure lifecycle management.
- Monitor and proactively address potential issues in the SQL and Windows server environment.
- Document technical processes and configurations to facilitate knowledge sharing.
**Requirements**:
- You have at least three years of professional work experience.
- Precise and meticulous work habits to ensure accuracy in tasks and deliverables.
- You display independence and initiative, contributing innovative suggestions for improvement.
- Excellent understanding of MS SQL and Windows servers.
- Experience in managing virtualization environments and possess good knowledge of VMware infrastructure.
- Strong skills in creating, expanding, and adjusting scripts using PowerShell.
- You demonstrate a robust technical understanding of foundational IT concepts enhancing your troubleshooting capabilities.
- Keen interest in staying ahead of IT trends, demonstrating a passion for understanding and experimenting with emerging technologies.
- In our international environment you can communicate confidently in English, knowledge of German is an advantage.
