**Your Main Activities Are**
- Performance of the RCSA
- Enhance the data model & tools deployed by GM OPC to support the RCSA lifecycle
- Challenge notably through quantitative analysis the effectiveness of GM control set up against non-financial risks
- Organize, support, document the reviews with stakeholders into RCSA documentation and tools
- Follow up of remediation against material weaknesses identified over the RCSA
- Contribution to the definition and enhancement of the permanent control framework across GM activities
- Monitor market practices and regulatory guidance to ensure framework remains at par with peers
- Strengthen FO to End control set up through the declaration & analysis of conduct risk related incidents
- Contribute to the design of risk reduction actions & coordinate the implementation with stakeholders (FO, Ops, Compliance and others)
- Follow-up of the implementation of both internal and external recommendations, from acceptance to closure
- Anticipate potential future areas of regulatory, conduct and operational risks
- Facilitation of relevant governance bodies
- Prepare appropriate materials and contribute to the various GM Boards, GM Internal Control Committee (ICC) or Regulatory bodies per the GM RCSA topics
- Local OPC coverage for GM Portugal:

- Ensure that local operational units, processes, risks and controls are assessed through the RCSA exercise (Risk and Control Self-Assessment) and provide a summarized view to GM Portugal management
- Contribute to the execution of 1 level of defense controls, covering GM Portugal
- Perform periodic and ad-hoc reporting to the appropriate level of management as well as to independent control functions, on the main operational risk indicators (Historical Incidents, Recommendations, Control results)
- Frame, design and lead autonomously the delivery of projects impacting GM Portugal, ensuring quality and respect of deadlines

**Profile and Skills to Success**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Maths, Engineering, IT, Science or similar fields
- At least 4 years of experience in Operational Risk, Engeneering, IT, Data Analytics
- Understanding of capital markets key risks, processes and controls
- Good awareness of Operational risk and fundamental risk concepts
- Excellent knowledge of Excel and MS Office tools
- Fluency in English both oral and written (mandatory)
- Analytical and quantitative skills, precision, rigorousness combined with a critical mindset
- Team spirit, ability to work with others and capacity to think out-of-the-box

**About the Team**
- GM OPC is part of the CCCO and also operates in all regions with the primary objective of strengthening the front to end internal control set up for GM, designing the operational risk cartography and driving the operational risk regulatory capital
- The department is organized around 3 streams
- Operational Risk Practice, including contribute to protect the business (P&L, reputation)
- Regulatory Practice, such as support any regulatory requirement with a sustainable framework, in line with the dedicated Governance, Control Plan & Risk Assessment
- Conduct Practice, including assess and challenge the effectiveness of the Conduct control set-up as well as ensure a full convergence between Conduct Risk Identification (CRI), Risk and Control Self-Assessment - RCSA)
- The above Practices are further supported by the Risk and Control Self-Assessment Stream
- Risk and Control Self-Assessment & Capital (Prevention)
- Design and maintain the operational risk cartography in line with the Process / Risk / Control approach on both BAU & Major Scenario
- Assist in assessment of capital markets risks and controls
- Drive GM Operational Risk Capital calculation & allocation
- The Operational Risk Analyst will have a double reporting line, reporting both to the Head of Global Markets OPC in Portugal and the Head of Global RCSA stream in London, and will work in close partnership with the business & second line partners (Risk, Compliance, etc.), to ensure full deployment of the Front to End RCSA and Permanent control framework worldwide, as per Group’s standards, with a specific focus in Portugal.
