GLOBAL MARKETS FRONT OFFICE ACCOUNTING TRAINEE (JOB NUMBER: 2303GMFOS14564)

**About the job**
- Part of CIB provides cross-asset investment, hedging, financing, research and market intelligence to corporate and institutional clients, as well as private and retail banking networks. Global Markets' sustainable, long term business model seamlessly connects clients to capital markets throughout 35 markets in EMEA, Asia Pacific and the Americas, with innovative solutions and digital platforms

**Your Main Activities Are**
- Responsible for closing all events & roadshows within set timescales and updating client database (roadshows within 4 months of roadshow end / events within 2 months from event end) once budget reconciled by Event or Roadshow Manager.
- Management of the entire invoice process from preparation of invoices to recharge costs back to clients to query handling, investigation and follow up (including debt recovery) / other companies / other BNP Paribas subsidiaries etc using invoicing system
- Ensure balances on cost centers are reported monthly and cleared by the end of each financial year
- Ad hoc reporting on all events and roadshow activity
- Assistance with annual budget process and other ad-hoc project work across MCE
- Provide on‐going support and advice to all team members on any cost related questions
- Liaise with Finance Department / Business on any cost related issues
- Liaise with Tax and Finance Departments on VAT / Tax issues related to the events & roadshow expenses
- Monitoring internal costs related to team projects and liaising with the relevant department to resolve any queries
- Liaising with AP Finance Department on all cost related queries, ensuring correct allocation of received funds, coding etc
- Encourage and demonstrate the benefits of recharging of roadshows on settlement

**Profile and Skills to Success**
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Economics, Management, Business Administration
- Perfect fluency in English
- Very strong attention to details, ability to work under pressure and to manage time accordingly
- Autonomous, capable of initiatives, multi-tasking, fast-learner, pro-active
- Numerate, accurate and detail oriented
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Advanced Excel spreadsheets, pivot tables, graphs & charts from reports etc
- Looking to learn project management
