- Our client is an International Corporation diversified manufacturing company operating in five areas: Electronics, Engraving, Engineering Technologies, Specialty Solutions, and Scientific divisions. They are a market-leading manufacturing brand recognized for their quality and innovation with representation in 46 places around the world,
- To grow their Finance Team located in Porto (Portugal), we're recruiting an
- **Accountant**(M/F) to support all Finance activities for the group's EMEA region.**Primary responsibilities**:

- Ensure, together with Reporting & Controlling Team Leader, the fulfillment of all reporting activities in line with local and group deadlines;
- Perform period-end activities, such as booking of manual journal entries, accruals, and provisions and deferrals: Perform inventory accounting and post adjustments; Process fixed asset accounting, including creation, additions, depreciation, disposals, and transfers; Revaluation and adjustments; Intercompany accounting; Balance sheet reconciliation and account maintenance, ensuring they give an accurate and fair view of company's business;
- Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Closing (Sales, Accounting, Taxes, and other ad-hoc analysis;
- Review the Monthly Accounting Closing;
- Review and propose provisions for doubtful debts and guarantees to customers as well as any appropriate accounting;
- Provide sales review, margin analysis, and profitability.

**Minimum qualifications**:

- Academic Degree in Accounting or Business Management;
- 4+ years of relevant experience in Accounting;
- Proficiency in English and French;
- Results-oriented, with the ability to identify issues and follow through with efficient, effective solutions.

**Preferred qualifications**:

- Chartered Accountant preferred;
- Experience in SAP Business One preferred
