Drainage Operations

**Drainage Operations & Maintenance Networks Manager** will coordinate the works done for foul sewer, surface ground water, and treated water.

Will also coordinate all the necessary services needed by the different works related to Drainage Network Management.

**Responsibilities (but not limited to)**:

- Supervises and controls operations, maintenance, and customer services work on the sewer network system including Foul Sewer network, Ground Surface Water network, and Treated Water Network.
- Makes sure that the correct safe work methods and safety precautions related to the work are assumed.
- Plans, supervises, and reviews the work of staff operating and performing inspection and assessment duties for sewer networks and TSE water network. This includes assessment, CCTV inspection, leak detection and assessment for repairs needs coordination.
- Ensure to meet economic objectives, is responsible for his budget and monitors expenditures.
- Plans, assigns, supervises, reviews, and evaluates the work of assigned staff, provides required resources for work and assistance to staff in resolving problems.
- Evaluates work methods and operations
- Coordinates and controls daily and monthly reports, on work performed and equipment utilization.
- Coordinates work with the planning team and other services, and supervises responds to questions and complaints from the public, responds to emergency situations.
- Holds regular meetings with staff to communicate expectations, receives feedback, provides motivation and employee recognition.
- Ensures safe work methods are followed and appropriate safety precautions and equipment are utilized and conducts safety meetings.
- Carry other tasks assigned.

**Experience**:

- +10 (ten) years relevant experience
- In depth background in networks for foul sewer, surface groundwater, and treated water
- Experience in drainage operations and maintenance contract

**Education**:

- Degree in Engineering or equivalent

**Others**:

- UPDA-registered / or to obtain this year 2024 (For engineering degree holder)
- _Note: As per Qatar Law all engineer professionals must be registered to Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME)_ _by taking and passing the UPDA exam._

**Job Location**:

- Doha, Qatar
- Willing to relocate full time
