Since the founding of Leonteq in 2007, the company has focused on developing an integrated technology platform that enables the automation of key processes in the value chain to produce structured investment products and long-term savings and retirement solutions.

The newly created position is part of the Non-Financial Risk Control and Audit Oversight team and requires the applicant to have a hybrid profile with experience in Operational Risk as well as solid knowledge in Operational Resilience, Third-Party Oversight, Incident Management, BCM and/or Cyber Security.

What you'll do
- Investigate Operational Risk Events, suggest corrective actions, and ensure appropriate reporting and follow-up.
- Monitor and report Top Operational Risks and their respective Key Risk Indicators.
- Collect and evaluate data on different types of Operational Risks within the company.
- Identify, measure and assess risks through in-depth discussions with delegates of each division.
- Report the current Operational Risk situation on a regular basis to the Board of Directors and Executive Committee.
- Conduct deep dives to identify new Operational Risks and/or challenge risk management strategies, policies and processes.
- Design, implement and maintain the Operational Resilience framework in line with Swiss and international regulatory requirements (e.g. FINMA, EBA) incl. the recovery and resolution framework.
- Collaborate with our Third-Party Risk specialists to ensure adequate coverage of Operational Resilience aspects in Third-Party Risk Management frameworks.
- Coordinate the integration of the BCM and Crisis Management into the Operational Resilience approach and work in close collaboration with the CISO and BCM experts.
- Support Internal and External Audits on Operational Resilience and BCM frameworks.

What you'll need
- At least 5 years of experience in Risk and/or IT ideally in the financial industry or in an advisory and/or consulting firm.
- Good understanding of financial industry outsourcing, Third-Party Risk Management standards and regulatory requirements.
- Good understanding of specific focus areas covering Operational Risk, Business Continuity Planning, Disaster Recovery Planning, Incident Management, IT Risk, Cyber Risk and/or Third-Party/Outsourcing Risk.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to express yourself in a structured way, both orally and in writing.
- Fluent in English with strong analytical and technical skills together with proven diplomatic interpersonal skills and report writing skills.
- Be able to work autonomously and collaborate well with other co-workers from various backgrounds.
- Master’s degree, preferably in Finance, Economics or Business administration.

Nice to have
- Previous experience in implementing an Operational Resilience approach.
- Previous experience as a Business Continuity Manager/Officer or an IT Security Officer
