A Snapshot of Your Day:
How You’ll Make an Impact:

- Review real estate transactions with regards to lease accounting standards and responsibility for relevant commercial aspects and topics (eg. business case reviews)
- Provide solutions concerning commercial topics and accounting principles relevant and specific to the real estate business (eg. real estate construction projects, acquisitions and disposals)
- Ensure that reporting and disclosure requirements concerning IFRS 16, EU-Taxonomy and the Corporate Social Responsibility Directive are met with suitable and reliable processes and tools
- Clarify complex commercial issues and the release of guidelines and implementation of training for real estate topics
- Support digitisation & automation initiatives for real estate from a principles perspective eg. reporting of real estate construction project financials

What You Bring:

- Successfully completed degree in a finance or business studies discipline (Masters degree a plus)
- Minimum 4-5 years of professional experience in an auditing firm and/or comparable industry experience within the field of real estate
- Detailed experience of real estate and lease accounting issues as well as knowledge of IFRS accounting standards (IFRS 16 essential)
- Excellent communication skills. Fluent English. German a plus.
- Team player
- Resilience and ability to maintain ‘coolness’ when working under deadline pressure
- Pro-active attitude to drive topics forward to execution and gain alignment with stakeholders
- Ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders and different management levels
