**Job Summary**:
To manage development and delivery of software products by defining project scope, estimating the capacity & time, preparing the WBS plan, providing development environment, formulating risk mitigation plan and documentation. Additionally, coach, mentor and guide the Systems Engineers in team for improved productivity, quality and growth.

Department: Clearing - Product

Reporting to: Business Lead - Clearing

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Validate Project Plans and SOWs with Project Managers/Delivery team
- Allocate and manage team resources for the development and QA, ensuring timely deliveries
- Analyze business requirements and review design and test cases in cooperation with Product Manager/Owner
- Develop risk mitigation plan for complex projects and execute as necessary
- Develop and coordinate code based on design/functional specifications
- Manage the budget and resources allocated to the team effectively
- Manage the team with clear objectives and weekly reviews, monitoring time spent on projects, capacity and achievements
- Ensure utilization of the team is in line with the capitialization target
- Identify the training needs of the team and facilitate training delivery accordingly
- Provide timely feedback to team members supported with data/instances to help them improve
- Develop team members to assume more responsibilities
- Ensure job rotation of team members in compliance with AGILE Methodology
- Provide technical expertise and recommendations to improve the project functionality
- Acquire/Distribute knowledge needed to complete the work more effectively
- Maintain Technical Backlog for product line
- Align with Head of MS&S (Operations) and Product Managers/Owners on Product roadmap and its materialization (Product evolutions, Change Requests, Product enhancements, New Products, Internal automations)
- Liaise with other departments to resolve issues faced by team members as necessary
- Attrition Control, Recruitment, and Induction processes

**Education requirement**:

- Bachelors/master’s in engineering

**Experience range**:

- 5+ years of experience in leading, managing and coaching a development unit, preferably in Agile setup and ideally in Telecom field.
- Full development lifecycle in an agile methodology (incl. test driven development, continuous integration), change and release management.

**Technical/ functional skills required**:

- Telecom Billing and Rating experience
- Experience working on high data transactions using Oracle DB
- People skills
- SQL Query/ Performance tuning
- Data Structures and Sorting Algorithms
- ‘C’, Pro*C/JAVA, J2EE, Struts, Hibernate/ MicroStrategy
- Oracle, PL/SQL, Advanced Replication
- UNIX, SHELL Scripting
- Team Developer Skills is a strong plus.
- Functional and System Testing using Quality Center
- Data Structures, Sorting Algorithms
- Blockchain knowledge (development skills) can be a +
